KREM-TV first hit the air on 31 October 1954. At first, it used to have dual affiliation with DuMont Network and ABC; later, it primarily became a CBS affiliate. It was also linked with NTA Film Network for the time being in late 1950. A radio group originally owned the station.
KREM 2 and KSKN, both channels share their studios at South Regal Street, Spokane. The network’s transmitter lies in Krell Hill, Spokane’s southeast side. Viewers can see their favorite TV channels on both cable and satellite networks. They can watch it in HD on CH 102 onin Spokane, CH 1209, on Charter Spectrum in the Palouse and Coeur d’Alene region.
