Regina Mobley is the news anchor at WAVY News 10, providing accurate news coverage to Hampton Roads for more than twenty-six years. Regina did graduation in Mass Communication in 1980 from Norfolk State University. After completing her education, she had only one way to go, and that was journalism. She started her career as a reporter at WTKR News 3 in 1985. After working for seven years as a reporter, she became a reporter, weekend anchor, and primary news anchor at WVEC ABC13, 13NewsNow. Later, she joined EXIT Realty Central as Realtor and started covering real estate stories in October 2018.

Brett Hall: WAVY 10’s News Reporter
Brett Hall is among the hardworking personalities on WAVY TV 10. His goal is to serve the community with his years of experience in reporting and journalism. After completing his degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park in 2012, Hall started working as a Freelance Traffic anchor at Delmarva Broadcasting in July 2013. Later, he became a treasurer at the Society of Professional Journalists in October 2012. Then, he decided to do an internship at Hearst Television’s WBAL-TV in September 2013.
After completing four months of internship, Brett joined Delmarva Broadcasting as a reporter in May 2014. In June 2013, he started working at CBS Radio as an Associate Journalist. Later, in July 2015, Hall became a Multimedia Journalist at CNY Central, including WSTQ CW-6, WTVH CBS-5, and WSTM NBC-3. He became a full-time reporter at WAVY TV 10 News and decided to commit his services to the people of Norfolk, Virginia.
About WAVY 10 News
WAVY-TV hit the air for the first time on 1 September 1957 as an ABC affiliate network under the ownership of Tidewater Teleradio. It was the 3rd TV service to commence operations in the region. In 1959, WAVY live decided to trade affiliation with WVEC-TV, which was an NBC affiliate network then. Thus, from that moment, it started taking content from NBC Network. In 1968, WAVY changed ownership from Tidewater to LIN Broadcasting; it was the second channel possessed by LIN at that moment. The network used to telecast from the studios located at Middle St. and downtown Portsmouth. However, in April 1989, WAVY TV 10 transferred to current studios at WAVY Street. On 21 March 2014, Media General decided to purchased LIN Broadcasting for 1.6M dollars.
The deal was described as a “merger” between two major companies. The sale was concluded on 19 December 2014, and WAVY official became a sister network to WVBT, together with WRIC-TV Petersburg. Currently, the channel operates under the ownership of Nexstar Media Group.

Casey Lehecka joined the team of meteorologists at WAVY-10 in November 2018. Lehecka took her meteorology degree from Penn State University in 2013. However, after working as a Gymnastics instructor for two years, Casey started an internship in weather journalism at WTAJ-TV in May 2016. After completing the four-month internship, she finally got a chance to shine and became a weekend meteorologist at WJAC-TV in November 2016.
Eventually, Lehecka ended up in WAVY-TV 10 as a weekend meteorologist in November 2018. Since then, she has been serving the NBC Norfolk news channel with great responsibility.
Jeremy Wheeler: WAVY’s oldest Meteorologist
Jeremy Wheeler is one of the oldest WAVY 10 weather personalities. He provides weather reports at WAVY TV 10 Midday and WAVY News 10 Today.
