Christina Talamo: WNYT Weather Personality

Christina Talamo is a part of the First Alert Weather Team of WNYT News. She provides weather coverage to New York Capital District during the live telecasts. Moreover, she analyzes satellite data, products and WNYT Radar to form daily forecasts. Talamo also uses WSI Max Software & Technology to produce or edit graphics for weather hits and updates the social media platforms of WNYT Albany.

Talamo did her graduation in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology in 2020 from University at Albany, SUNY. However, she started working as a part-time worker while continuing her studies as a Cashier at Pat’s Marketplace in June 2015. Later, Christina Talamo became a salesperson at Captree Fuel Bait and Tackled in May 2016 and Operations Intern at New York State Mesonet in January 2019.

Talamo began her weather journey in November 2018 when she started writing weather forecasts online for Global Weather and Climate Center LLC. But, her first physical presence in weather sector was in NBC New York when she joined the channel as a Broadcast Operations Intern with Storm Team 4 in June 2019. After that, Christina did another nine months internship in National Weather Service in September 2019 and eventually joined WNYT News Channel 13 as a part-time Meteorologist in January 2020.

Allison Finch: Part-time Meteorologist at WNYT 13

Allison Finch started her career in Channel 13 Albany as a part-time WNYT Weather personality in December 2019. Since then, she has been providing the weather transmission to the NY Capital region during Thursdays and Sundays at noon and mornings, respectively.

Finch completed her graduate degree in Atmospheric Sciences & Meteorology in 2020 from University at Albany, SUNY. Same as Christina, Allison also started working as a part-time during her studies in 2014 as a Hostess at The Corner Restaurant. Then in June 2014, she joined Camp Awosting, as a Counselor and Nanny. Her career in weather started in July 2019 when she became a Weather Intern at WFSB-TV. Eventually, after becoming General Merchandise Team Member and doing Film internship in University at Albany Sports, Finch joined WNYT Channel 13 News Albany NY as a part-time meteorologist. She has been quite a help to WNYT Weather team during the live telecast.
