Mark Bradshaw: Anchor at NewsChannel 8
Mark Bradshaw is an anchor of weekday newscasts at 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm. He co-hosts the news programs together with Neile Jones. Mark has been a part of KTUL TV since 1996. His passion for news drove him to make coast-to-coast-to-coast trips to several US regions. Over the years, Mark Bradshaw has done several great projects such as covering California’s earthquakes, Oregon’s billion-dollar pot raids, the east coast’s hurricanes, Oklahoma’s tornadoes, Mississippi’s floods, and Vegas’ entertainment. He cherished each and every moment in journalism. That’s what he likes more about the job. Mark took his graduation degree from Biola University.
Before KTUL Channel 8, Bradshaw used to serve at KLAS News as an anchor and reporter from July 1994 to September 1996. He was a host and of 4 pm and 6:300 pm weeknight news service and reported. From 1992 to 1994, Mark worked at CBN news as a national anchor/reporter for 2 years. Prior to this, Mark was a member of KMID News as an anchor and reporter for 10 months. In May 1981, Bradshaw started working as a reporter at KTVL News. He used to offer 5 pm and 11 pm weeknight news transmission. Before that, he worked 12 years at KTRVL News from 1980 to 1992. Mark started his career in journalism at KPIC News as an Anchor and Reporter from July 1980 to March 1980.
Cumming’s Other Experiences
Prior to this, Cummings was an Assistant Director at The Shawn M. Donnelley Center for Nonprofit Communication in May 2018. Later, she was promoted to Firm Director. When she was an Assistant Director, she managed social media, content development teams, and videos for clients. In June 2019, Lilly became a part of CBS News as an Internee of CBS This Morning Saturday, where she worked alongside producers to gather content for stories, wrote teases, helped with shoots, transcribed interviews, pulled content from newspath, archives, and Avid interplay software, wrote newsworthy and also conducted relevant stories every week.
Lilly was a Marketing Intern at Pythian Market in January 2019 for 5 months. She scheduled content via Sprout Social, compiled digital content for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, created promotional material. In June 2017, Cummings also became a Promotional Intern at Tulsa Driller Baseball and developed game-day scripts for the video production and promotion crew. Plus, she also acquired sales and production experience there.
Lilly was also a Morning News Intern at WDSU TV News Orleans from January 2018 to May 2018. In New Orleans, she produced edits and anchors packages, compiled scripts for anchors in weekend guest interviews, managed the intern Twitter account and also helped web production and assignment desk operations.

The new meteorologist who came after the retirement of Frank Mitchell was Dan Threlkeld. Threlkeld is also a part of Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences as a Director of Digital Media Relations. Before that, he was a member of Cox Media Group, Tulsa as a Producer from November 2014 to November 2015. Dan also worked at Tulsa Community College as an Adjunct Professor from March 2013 to September 2015.
In October 2002, he joined KJRH as a Chief Meteorologist and earned Emmys in 2006, 2007, and 2012. There, he also used to act as a director and leader for a newsroom team and managed the squad of 4 weather anchors on severe weather and other such weather-related events. Moreover, under his supervision, the station’s 6 pm newscast jumped from number 4 to number 2. Dan also developed an experienced network of spotters/storm chasers, delivering them extra training based on his previous experiences.
Threkeld started his career in journalism as a Meteorologist from KFOR. Dan used to create and provide the weathercast for the channel, take part in storm chasing both on the ground and in the chopper, helped in scheduling the reporting alongside producing weather-related sections. Moreover, he also used to deliver web content for the network and developed sweep stories for the viewers. Not to mention, his participation in all severe weather events.
Furthermore, Therkeld did his Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma from 1994 to 1997. He completed his graduation in Meteorology from the Mississippi State University.

About KTUL TV
KTUL TV first hit the waves with the calls KTVX at 12:30 pm on 18 September 1954. The first show to air on KTVX was an ABC’s college football match between the California Golden Bears and the University of Oklahoma Sooners. Sooners won that game with 27/13 score. Channel 8 Tulsa TV channel has been first signed on under the affiliation of ABC ever since its inauguration, despite the fact that KTVX radio was a CBS affiliate channel.
KTUL TV still operates under the affiliation of ABC Network. However, it has changed several ownerships over the years and currently has been serving under the name of Sinclair Broadcast Group. KTUVU News’ secondary affiliate partners are Comet, TBD, Antenna TV, and Charge!.
