Laflin began her career life at KENS-TV as a TV Reporter in 1995 and then moved to KOAT News in June 2000 after serving KENS for 5 years. In April 2005, Nancy joined Music Commission as an Executive Director and served the company for almost 6 years. Later, Laflin was transferred to KRQW 13 as a Reporter in February 2011. In February 2013, Nancy was returned to KOAT TV News.

She hopes that if not all, some of her stories will make a positive difference in some person’s life. Norwood manages an anchor desk every Weekend night on KOAT News and conducts reporting during the weekdays. She has exhibited perfect history in working in broadcast journalism. Kalyn is skilled in handling the anchor desk, reporting news, and writing stories right on deadline. Norwood took her degree in BA Braodcast and Digital Journalism in 2015 at the University of Southern California.

Before being a part of KOAT 7, Kalyn was a member of KVUE TV ABC from February 2018 to August 2020. She also worked in KEZI 9 News as a Weekend News Personality from February 2016 to February 2018. Moreover, Norwood served Anenvberg TV News as a Producer, MMJ, Reporter, and Anchor from August 2013 to December 2015. Kelly FransonKelly Franson has been covering Albuquerque weather since April 2019. She is one of the skilled personalities that the KOAT Weather team has in its squad. Franson presents the latest weather forecast based on the KOAT Radar for the people of Albuquerque at 4 pm every Monday to Friday. Kelly did BS in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology at The University of North Dakota. Prior to joining KOAT 7 News, Franson was a Communications Specialist at the Edmonds School of Districts for one year from April 2018 to April 2019.

She also worked for KIRO 7 as a Content Creator and Meteorologist from December 2014 to December 2017. In September 2007, Kelly joined WBTV as a Reporter and a Meteorologist. She served the channel for almost 7 and a half years. Her other work experience includes being Chief Meteorologist and Environmental Reporter at KBOI from November 2005 to August 2007, Chief Meteorologist at KIDK from April 2003 to November 2005, and General Assignment Reporter at KVLY from August 2002 to December 2002.
